Gina Russo Andersen Accounting Manager, New Orleans
Gina is the Accounting Manager at Enhanced Capital where she plays an integral role on the firm’s accounting team. In this role, she is responsible for managing the day-to-day accounting activities, loan servicing, financial reporting, and treasury management functions.
Gina began her career at Enhanced Capital as an accounting intern and held several roles including accountant, and senior accountant. After nearly three years at Tree Line Capital Partners where she managed all loan servicing and the day-to-day accounting functions, she returned to Enhanced Capital as an Accounting Manager.
Gina holds a Bachelor of Science in Accounting and Finance from the University of New Orleans.

Tyler L. Augusty Director, Council & Enhanced TN Fund, Nashville
Tyler joined Council Capital as Director of the Council & Enhanced Tennessee Fund in 2014. In this role, Tyler is responsible for the fund’s day to day activities, including all deal sourcing, origination and execution, as well as portfolio monitoring, reporting and administration. He also ensures the fund’s compliance with TNInvestco regulations, working closely with the State of Tennessee’s Department of Economic and Community Development.
Prior to joining Council Capital, Tyler was an Associate for Harbert Management Corporation’s Mezzanine Capital Group, a provider debt and equity financing to middle market companies with approximately $300 million of capital under management. At Harbert, Tyler performed due diligence and executed new investments while also managing the ongoing performance of the existing portfolio and representing Harbert on the Board of Directors for select companies.
He began his career in finance as an analyst for the Investment Banking Group of Morgan Keegan & Company, Inc., where he worked in both the Memphis and Nashville offices and facilitated M&A activity and follow-on offerings for companies in several industries, including logistics, manufacturing, business services and retail.
Tyler is a member of Leadership Health Care and serves on the Junior Advisory Board and as an ambassador for Best Buddies Tennessee. He earned bachelor’s degrees in finance and real estate from the University of Georgia.

Rosie Beach Impact Analyst, New Orleans
Rosie is an Impact Analyst on the Impact Team at Enhanced Capital. She is responsible for tracking and aggregating all impact data at Enhanced Capital. She also assists with managing impact objectives, metrics, analysis, and reporting.
Prior to joining Enhanced Capital full-time, Rosie completed a year-long internship with the firm’s Impact Team.
Rosie holds a Bachelor of Arts in Environmental Studies with a concentration in Humanities and Business Administration from Loyola University New Orleans.

Doug Beekman Principal, Georgia
Doug is a Principal at Enhanced Capital.
Prior to joining Enhanced Capital, he was the Chief Financial Officer for Broadband iTV, Inc., a company focused on developing advanced technology solutions for interactive television providers. Doug has 22 years of experience in finance, with 12 of those spent in private equity. He began his career as an analyst for Alex. Brown and Sons and also served as Manager Corporate Development for Danaher Corporation. Following business school, he joined Advantage Capital Partners, where he managed multiple private equity funds during his tenure. His fiduciary experience includes serving the Board of Directors of eight companies.
Doug earned an MBA from the Kellogg Graduate School of Management at Northwestern University and an A.B. in Government from Dartmouth College.

Matt Bettino Climate Finance Associate, New York
Matt works with the Climate Finance team on investment opportunities as an Associate.
Prior to joining the firm, Matt interned for Douglass Winthrop Advisors as an Analyst on their Environment Investment Strategy. He also held an internship with Basin Holdings, a New York-based energy and industrials investment and operating firm.
Matt received a Bachelor of Arts in History modified with Economics from Dartmouth College in 2020.

Catherine Blume Vice President, New Orleans
Catherine is a Vice President at Enhanced Capital. She is responsible for all aspects of the firm’s New Markets Tax Credit platform including deal execution, community impact reporting and asset management. Since joining in 2012, Catherine has been involved in closing over $677 million of State and Federal NMTC Allocation to QALICBs nationally.
Prior to joining Enhanced Capital, Catherine was a Paralegal in the Corporate and Securities Practice Group with Jones Walker LLP. Catherine holds a Bachelor of Arts from Loyola University New Orleans and is a Louisiana Notary Public.

Dennis C. Bottorff Managing General Partner and Co-Founder, Council Capital, Nashville
As a successful financial services CEO, Denny created more than $7 billion in realized shareholder value. During his 32-year career in banking, he led or was intimately involved with 29 acquisitions. Denny has been the key executive of four banks, including: President and then Chairman and CEO of Commerce Union, Vice Chairman and COO of Sovran Bank, President and COO of C&S Sovran, and President and CEO of First American National Bank. He led First American from a net loss to a sale to AmSouth for $6.4 billion. With the merger of First American and AmSouth, he became Chairman of AmSouth until he left in 2000 to form Council Ventures.
His corporate board experience includes serving as a member of the Board of Directors of 11 companies from pre-revenue startups to Fortune 500 companies. In 2007, as Chair of the Strategic Planning Committee of the Board of Directors of Dollar General Corporation, he oversaw the process that culminated in the sale of Dollar General to Kohlberg Kravis Roberts & Co. for $7 billion. As Vice Chair of the Vanderbilt University Board of Trustees, a board he joined in 1991, Denny has twice chaired the search committees for a new Chancellor, including the most recent search concluded in early 2008. In 2006, he was appointed by the President of the United States to the board of the Tennessee Valley Authority (TVA), the nation’s largest public utility and currently serves as Chairman of the Board of TVA.
Denny is Chairman of the Board of Council Capital portfolio company NuScriptRX, non-Executive Chairman of CapStar Bank and Board Member of Ingram Industries. He was previously a member of the Board of Council Capital portfolio companies Lancope, MEMX, AppForge and Benefit Informatics.

Josh Bunch Associate, New York
Josh is an Associate for Enhanced Capital in New York. He is responsible for working on a variety of strategic projects and assisting with business planning. Prior to joining Enhanced Capital, Josh was a strategy and consulting analyst for Accenture.
Josh holds a B.S. in Finance and a concentration in Computing and Data Sciences from New York University, Stern School of Business.

Jo Ann Clipp Project Manager, Baltimore
Jo Ann serves as a Project Manager for Enhanced Capital and supports the Climate Finance and Impact Real Estate departments. Her responsibilities include underwriting and deal execution for tax equity transactions, namely the firm’s solar tax credit deals.
Prior to joining Enhanced Capital, Jo Ann was a Senior Manager for CohnReznick LLP, a nationally recognized accounting firm specializing in Low-Income Housing, Historic, Renewable Energy, and New Markets Tax Credits. She has over twenty years of experience and was instrumental in closing over two hundred tax credit financing transactions with an emphasis on the Low-Income Housing, Historic, and New Markets Tax Credits.
Jo Ann received an MBA from Loyola University in Baltimore, Maryland, as well as a BA from Frostburg State University.

Michael Craven Director, New Orleans
Michael serves as Director for Enhanced Capital in the Impact Real Estate department. He is responsible for coordinating with companies and high-net-worth individuals to minimize effective tax rates. He is also responsible for identifying real estate investment opportunities and structuring transactions to fit within deal parameters.
Prior to joining Enhanced Capital, Michael was VP at Stonehenge Capital Company, where he worked in a similar capacity. Before joining Stonehenge, Michael worked as an associate with Unum Insurance Company, where he monitored credit and sector trends within a segment of the larger portfolio. Prior to joining Unum, he worked in the Private Placement division of Citigroup in Hartford prior to the acquisition of the Travelers subsidiary by Met Life.
Michael holds a BS in Mechanical Engineering from Louisiana State University and an MBA from the University of Massachusetts in Amherst.

Matthew Davis Tax Credits, Chicago
Matt is primarily responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with institutional investors including insurance companies, asset managers, and corporations. His long history of working with complex products and strategies directly complements Enhanced Capital’s initiatives, supporting its mission to positively impact communities across the United States.
Matt began his career at Chase Manhattan Bank in 1996 in investment-grade debt capital markets, where he focused on utility and energy issuers. From there he moved to institutional credit sales with JP Morgan where he covered Midwest institutional clients based out of Chicago. After over 20 years at JP Morgan, Matt helped develop the sales and trading effort at Milwaukee-based RW Baird Securities. In 2020, Matt joined Monarch Private Capital where he brought new investors into the tax equity marketplace.
Matt has a BA in theology and psychology from Georgetown University and an MBA in finance from the Fuqua School of Business. He serves his local community, Lake Forest, IL, where he is the Chairman of the Board of Fire and Police Commissioners. He is an active supporter of Catholic Charities of Lake County where he chairs an annual golf outing that provides critical funding for the organization.

Dusty Dickerson Managing Director, New Orleans
Dusty is a Managing Director for Enhanced Capital and manages all underwriting and deal execution for the firm’s Impact Real Estate department. In addition, he is responsible for the firm’s secondary investment syndications.
Prior to joining Enhanced Capital in June 2016, Dusty was Manager of Project Finance for HRI Properties, where he specialized in combining various state and federal incentive programs with traditional debt and equity capital for the development of hotels, apartments, affordable housing, solar energy, and mixed-use assets.
Dusty holds a Master of Finance degree from Tulane University as well as a B.B.A. degree in Economics and Finance from the University of Mississippi.

Max Edelman Director of Asset Management, New Orleans
Max is the Director of Asset Management for Enhanced Capital. He manages the asset management and fund operation activities related to tax credit investments.
Prior to joining Enhanced Capital, he was an Asset Manager with Consolidated Resource Management, where he was responsible for a portfolio of real estate valued at over $400 million. Prior to that, Max worked as an auditor for Ernst & Young where he provided audit service for a publicly traded bank and a financial services firm.
Max is a Certified Public Accountant. He holds a B.A. in Finance from Tulane University and a M.S. in Accounting from Tulane University.

Andrew Eick Principal, Ohio
Andrew joined Enhanced Capital in 2018 and focuses on origination, investment, and regulatory activities in Ohio.
Prior to joining Enhanced Capital, Andrew’s experience included 12 years of commercial lending for Bank and SBIC organizations, as well as four years of corporate finance and financial planning for multi-national corporations.
Andrew earned his Bachelor of Science in Management from Purdue University and Master of Business Administration from the University of North Carolina’s Kenan-Flagler Business School.

Mary Sue Emerson principal, Ohio
Mary Sue is a Principal on the Small Business Lending team at Enhanced Capital.
Prior to joining Enhanced Capital, Mary Sue’s experience included over twenty years of lending experience across the capital structure. She served in both credit and business development roles within commercial banking institutions investing through a traditional senior debt structure. Also, she spent nearly ten years investing senior, mezzanine and equity dollars through a Small Business Investment Company (SBIC). Most recently, Mary Sue was the Credit Officer responsible for Specialty Lending (PEG and ABL), Corporate Lending, Food and Agricultural Lending, Equipment Finance and FOREX at First Financial Bank, a $16 billion bank based in Cincinnati, Ohio.
Mary Sue holds a BSBA in Finance from Xavier University and a MBA from the University of Cincinnati.

Thomas Favret Senior Accountant, New Orleans
Thomas is a Senior Accountant for Enhanced Capital. As Senior Accountant, Thomas is responsible for providing financial reporting support, financial statement preparation, and periodic reporting to investors, lenders, and regulatory authorities for the firm’s New Market Tax Credit entities.
Thomas joined Enhanced Capital with over four years of experience in external financial statement audit at KPMG. As a Senior Associate at KPMG, he provided audit and attestation services for both publicly traded and private entities. His work spanned multiple industry sectors, including Oil and Gas, Energy Services, Agriculture, Manufacturing, and Advertising.
Thomas holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance from Loyola University New Orleans and continued his Post Baccalaureate studies in Accounting at the University of New Orleans.

Katie H. Gambill Managing General Partner and Co-Founder, Council Capital, Nashville
Katie was the youngest of a small group of principals who purchased Equitable Securities from American Express in 1972. When Equitable Securities was sold to SunTrust in 1998, she was President of Equitable Securities and its second-largest shareholder.
At Equitable, she was Chief Investment Officer with primary responsibility for the direct investment of the firm’s capital in both public and private emerging growth companies, including both healthcare and financial services businesses. From 1972 to 1998 Katie had primary responsibility for building and leading Equitable’s equity business. When the company was acquired from American Express in 1972, revenues acquired were over 90 percent corporate and municipal bond sales and underwriting. When the company was ultimately sold to SunTrust in 1998, revenues were over 90 percent from the equity business.
In addition to her position as President, Katie was a member of the Executive Committee and a member of the Board of Directors of Equitable Securities. She was Chairman of the Investment Policy Committee governing all research recommendations and investment banking underwriting commitments; the Founding Managing Director and member of the Board of Directors of Equitable Asset Management, a mutual fund management company; and member of the Board of Directors of Equitable Trust Company. Combined assets under management were over $1 billion at the time of the sale to SunTrust.
After the sale to SunTrust, Katie became President and a member of the Board of Directors of the newly formed SunTrust Equitable Securities. She remained with SunTrust Equitable Securities until co-founding Council Ventures in 2000.
Katie is presently a member of the Executive Council of the Harvard School of Public Health and an observer on the board of Senior Health Holdings (Senior Whole Health). She was previously a member of the board of Council Capital portfolio companies Advanced Academics, Benefit Informatics, iKobo, NotifyMD and Senior Whole Health.
Katie received her BA cum laude in Economics from Vanderbilt University in 1968 and her Chartered Financial Analyst (C.F.A.) designation in 1976.

Laurel Hearn Director, New Orleans
Laurel serves as Director on Enhanced’s Impact Real Estate team. In this capacity, she manages the underwriting, deal execution, and tax credit sales for all state tax credit transactions. In addition to this role, Laurel assists the Impact Real Estate team throughout the originations, executions, and asset management process.
Laurel graduated magna cum laude from Wake Forest University in 2011 with a Bachelor of Arts in History. She received her J.D. from the University of Texas School of Law in 2014.

Tina Hebert Project Manager, New Orleans
Tina is a Project Manager for Enhanced Capital and manages deal execution for the firm’s Impact Real Estate department.
Before joining Enhanced Capital, Tina was an associate in the Real Estate Practice Group with Stone Pigman Walther Wittmann LLC. Her practice included all aspects of real estate development, financing, leasing, purchase, and sale.
Tina holds her J.D. from Loyola University New Orleans and a Bachelor of Arts from Louisiana State University.

Philip Hodges Managing Partner, REDMONT Venture Partners, Birmingham
Philip is the Managing Partner of REDMONT Venture Partners, a private equity firm located in Birmingham, Alabama which has partnered with Enhanced Alabama Issuer, LLC and Enhanced Capital Alabama Fund II, LLC to deploy capital in Alabama.
Since 1997, REDMONT has invested capital into companies primarily in the healthcare and information technology sectors. His previous experience includes management positions at Atherotech, Tubular Products Corporation and Healthsouth.
He currently serves as a Director for the following companies: allvivo, Entegreat, Reliant Medical Products, and Vaxin. Philip holds a BS in Business Administration from Samford University, and his affiliations include: Samford Business School Advisory Board, National Venture Capital Association, Atlanta Venture Forum, Birmingham Venture Club, TechBirmingham and the Young Entrepreneurs’ Organization.

David Huston Chief Financial Officer and Chief Compliance Officer, New Orleans
Dave is the Chief Financial Officer for Enhanced Capital. As CFO, he oversees Enhanced Capital’s accounting, finance and treasury functions as well as the periodic reporting to investors, lenders and regulatory authorities. Additionally, Dave assists with the monitoring and investment performance tracking of the firm’s state-sponsored investment funds and underlying portfolio companies.
Previously, he was the CFO of Tree Line Capital Partners, a lower middle market direct lending asset management firm with $1.2 billion of AUM across private funds and separately managed accounts. He began his career with Ernst & Young where he was a Manager providing auditing and attestation services for both publicly traded and private entities.
Dave is a Certified Public Accountant and a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.

Aazim Jaheez is a Senior Corporate Development Analyst and works on a variety of strategic initiatives and assists with business planning.
Prior to joining Enhanced Capital, Aazim worked as a Consumer M&A Analyst.
Aazim holds an undergraduate degree in Computer Science and Engineering from the College of Engineering, Guindy (India), and a Master of Science in Quantitative Management specializing in Finance from the Fuqua School of Business at Duke University.

Chuck Kaiser Tax Credits, St. Louis
Chuck is primarily responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with institutional investors with a focus on insurance companies. Chuck’s ability to explain very complicated products in a way that makes them easier to understand, along with his wealth of experience and expertise, directly supports Enhanced Capital’s initiatives and the Company’s mission to positively impact communities across the United States.
In 1991, Chuck joined A.G. Edwards & Sons as an institutional sales professional. After leaving A.G. Edwards & Sons, Chuck served in numerous capacities including creating and placing custom-structured products and selling and trading fixed-income and equity securities at Stifel Nicolaus. As a Managing Director at Rockwood Group, he placed both state and federal tax credits in excess of $100 million with insurance company investors. As a Managing Director at Monarch private capital, Chuck placed in excess of $300 million in state and federal tax equity.
Chuck earned a BA in economics and business administration from Vanderbilt University, a JD from the Northwestern University School of Law, and an MBA from the Kellogg School of Management. He is a licensed attorney and an active member of the Missouri Bar Association. Chuck is the President of ECC Nepal, a Missouri-domiciled not-for-profit corporation that improves the education experience for students in rural Nepal by implementing modern teaching techniques.

Paul Kasper Independent Advisory Consultant, Puerto Rico
Paul is the founder and Chief Executive Officer of Enhanced PK Services, LLC, an independent SEC-registered investment adviser based in Puerto Rico that provides investment advisory and consulting services to Enhanced Capital.
Paul was an employee of Enhanced from 2008 to 2020, most recently serving as a Managing Director. Previously, Paul served as a Principal and Senior Associate at American Securities Capital Partners, a leading middle-market private equity fund, and also worked as a private equity investor at Hicks Muse Tate & Furst and as a Mergers & Acquisitions analyst at Merrill Lynch.
Paul graduated with highest distinction from Penn State University with a BS degree in Accounting and an MS degree in Business Administration. He also graduated with an MBA degree from the Stanford Graduate School of Business as an Arjay Miller Scholar. During business school, Paul worked in the office of the Chief Technology Officer of Agilent Technologies.

Michael Korengold President and Chief Executive Officer, New York
Michael serves as the President and Chief Executive Officer of Enhanced Capital Group LLC. Michael serves on the firm’s investment committees and Board of Directors.
Prior to becoming president, Michael served as the company’s senior vice president and general counsel, where he handled the company’s various legal matters, including government relations and corporate compliance issues. Prior to joining Enhanced Capital, Michael practiced law for seven years in New Orleans and Minneapolis, with an emphasis on mergers & acquisitions and financing transactions. He clerked on the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit.
Since joining Enhanced Capital, Michael has lectured extensively on capital formation programs and has testified before numerous state legislatures and other governmental institutions on related issues. Michael also has served on the boards of numerous civic, community, and charitable organizations, including as chairman of YPO’s Gotham Chapter. He served as a long-term member of the Pancreatic Cancer Action Network’s Board of Directors and as its Board Chair from 2022 to 2024.
Michael is a 1986 graduate of Vassar College and a 1993 magna cum laude graduate of the University of Minnesota Law School, where he graduated order of the coif (highest honors) and served as an editor of the Law Review.

Anjali Kotian Head of Human Resources and Administration, New Orleans
Anjali is the Head of Human Resources and Administration for Enhanced Capital. In this role, she is responsible for the day-to-day operations of all human resources functions and office management, the employee life cycle, benefits administration, and implementation of company policies and procedures. She also works closely with Enhanced Capital’s CCO to maintain compliance relating to the firm’s investment business.
Prior to joining Enhanced Capital in 2015, Anjali held positions at Ameriprise Financial, Deloitte, and FirstEnergy Corp.
Anjali holds a BS in Business Administration with a concentration in finance from the University of New Orleans, and is a Certified Professional with the Society of Human Resources Management.

Mark Mauer Senior Associate, New Orleans
Mark is a Senior Associate responsible for supporting the underwriting and execution team. Mark assists with due diligence, financial analysis, and other tasks for an array of impact investing projects.
Prior to joining Enhanced Capital, Mark worked in commercial credit analysis for various banks.
Mark holds a Bachelor’s degree in Finance from Southeastern Louisiana University and a Master’s degree in Urban & Regional Planning from the University of New Orleans.

Shane McCarthy Managing Partner, New Orleans
Shane is Managing Partner of Enhanced Capital’s Impact Real Estate team. In this capacity, he co-heads the firm’s federal and state tax credit business lines and manages the firm’s Impact Real Estate department. Prior to co-heading the Impact Real Estate services business line, Shane was the Chief Financial Officer, where he oversaw the firm’s accounting, finance, tax, and treasury functions.
Prior to joining Enhanced Capital in March 2006, he was an audit manager with Ernst & Young where he provided auditing and attestation services for both publicly traded and private entities.
Shane is a certified public accountant and a member of both the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Society of Louisiana Certified Public Accountants. He received his Masters in Professional Accountancy and a BS in Accounting from the University of Southern Mississippi in 2001 and 1999, respectively.

Ian McCulley Principal, Denver
Ian is a Principal responsible for Enhanced Capital’s Property Assessed Clean Energy (PACE) business.
Prior to joining Enhanced, Ian worked at B. Riley and Dialectic Capital as a hedge fund investment professional. Ian started his career at Grant’s Interest Rate Observer, a biweekly investment publication.
Currently based in Denver, Ian attended the University of Colorado and enjoys being outside and in the mountains as much as possible.

Richard Montgomery Managing Partner, New Orleans
Richard is Managing Partner of Enhanced Capital’s Impact Real Estate team. In this capacity, he co-heads the firm’s federal and state New Markets Tax Credit business lines and manages the firm’s Impact Real Estate department.

Parthie Orth Head of Investor Relations, New York
Parthie serves as the Head of Investor Relations of Enhanced Capital.
Prior to Enhanced Capital, Parthie was the Director of Marketing and Investor Relations at B. Riley Alternatives, and its predecessor firm, Dialectic Capital Management, starting in 2011. Prior to Dialectic, Parthie held similar positions at alternative investment firms The Gargoyle Group, Chilton Investment Company, and Halcyon Asset Management LLC where she was involved in all aspects of marketing and investor relations.
Before her career in alternatives, Parthie spent two years in Morgan Stanley’s Investment Management Division where she conducted research and assisted clients. Parthie began her career at Jacob Asset Management as a Research Associate focusing on technology and Internet-related companies. Parthie holds a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Virginia.

Gingee Prince Chief Impact Officer and Managing Director, California
Gingee serves as Managing Director of Enhanced Capital’s $25 million Wyoming investment fund and as Chief Impact Officer for Enhanced Capital. Gingee oversees the objectives, metrics, analysis, and reporting of the firm’s social, environmental, and economic investment impact. Prior to these two positions at Enhanced, she was responsible for the development of public/private investment programs and business expansion for the firm.
Gingee has extensive experience founding and growing companies in the computer, telecommunications, and private investment industries. Prior to joining Enhanced, Gingee worked with Reservoir Capital Group, a New York-based private investment firm with over $6.5 billion currently under management. Prior to Reservoir, Gingee co-founded two computer hardware companies, New Media Corporation, and InterWorks Computer Products. InterWorks was successfully sold to Sanmina Corporation (NASDAQ:SANM) in July 2000.
Gingee currently serves on the board of a number of portfolio companies, including Vertical Harvest of Jackson Hole and Wyoming Authentic Products in Cody, WY. Over the years, Gingee has also invested in and consulted with many early-stage businesses, providing them with financial, operational, and fundraising advisory services. Gingee holds a BA from the University of California, Berkeley.

Ed Rossier Managing Director, Head of Climate Finance, St. Louis
Ed joined Enhanced Capital in 2021 and is responsible for its Climate Finance credit and equity businesses.
Previously, Ed was the Senior Vice President at U.S. Bank, where he led a team that closed $10 billion of investments, financing over 13,000 megawatts of solar, wind, bioenergy, and energy storage projects across the country. Prior to U.S. Bank, he served as the Director of Business Development at the multidisciplinary engineering firm Werner Sobek New York, where he was responsible for structural and façade engineering originations and the firm’s launch of its New York sustainable building technology group. Ed is a regular speaker at renewable energy and sustainable investing conferences.
Ed is a graduate of Williams College and the University of Washington. He lives in St. Louis, Missouri, where he serves as a judge for the annual Arch Grants Global Startup Competition, and as an investment committee member of the Four-Leaf Clover Foundation.

Avery Rowan Investor Relations Associate, New York
Avery is an Investor Relations Associate at Enhanced Capital. She is responsible for public relations and communications, which includes writing press releases and managing web content.
Prior to Enhanced Capital, Avery was the business development assistant at Dia Art Foundation’s administrative office in New York City.
Avery graduated Cum Laude from the University of Georgia with a Bachelor of Arts in Fine Arts.

Lan Adair Sasa Director, Climate Finance, St. Louis
Lan Adair Sasa is a Director of Climate Finance at Enhanced Capital. She focuses on climate finance investments in carbon reduction technologies that support the transition to a clean energy future.
Lan established her career at US Bank, as a leader in its Environmental Finance group. During her 11 years at US Bank, Lan served a multitude of roles, eventually becoming Vice President where she managed a tax equity underwriting and closing team and oversaw the deployment of over $5.6B of tax equity for 7.6GW of solar, wind, and storage assets. With this background, Lan provides a strategic perspective to deploy capital and best position investors for reliable and strong returns.
Lan serves on the Board of Directors for WRISE (Women of Renewable Industries & Sustainable Energy) and is a strong supporter of diversity and inclusion. She also serves on the Advisory Board for North Sky Capital National Impact Fund which provides low-income communities capital for operating businesses that create positive social and environmental impacts.

Hitesh Shah Director, Connecticut
Hitesh is a Director at Enhanced Capital and focuses on investment activities for the firm. Hitesh manages investments and is responsible for Enhanced Capital’s Connecticut funds. Hitesh has been with Enhanced for ten years and has held other investment related positions.
Prior to Enhanced Capital, he was an Analyst at Connecticut Center for Advanced Technology’s (CCAT) Entrepreneur Center, a physical and virtual incubator for technology led small businesses.
Hitesh graduated with an MBA from University of Hartford and a BS in Accounting from University of Pune, India.

Latrika is the Accounting Associate for Enhanced Capital and supports the accounting and finance department.
Previously, she was the Administrative Associate for the firm. Prior to Enhanced Capital, she worked as an account analyst at Sears/ Citi Corp for eight years.

Chris Shinaberry Construction Project Manager, New Orleans
Chris is the Construction Project Manager at Enhanced Capital for the Impact Real Estate department. He is responsible for overseeing construction due diligence and draw procedures.
Prior to joining Enhanced Capital, Chris was the Chief Development Officer at Moran Construction Consulting. He worked to mitigate financial risk for lenders, investors, and syndicators on commercial projects across the company, as well as the development of new business strategies and policies for the company.
Chris holds a BS from the Louisiana State University’s College of Engineering in Construction Management.

Mark Slusar Managing Partner, Washington D.C.
Mark joined Enhanced Capital in 2005 and serves as Managing Partner. Based in Maryland, he oversees all operations for the Small Business Lending department. His responsibilities include managing members of the firm’s investment group and coordinating all Small Business Lending activities. Mark is an active multi-stage investor for the firm. He originates transactions, coordinates due diligence activities, executes transactions, and manages a diverse portfolio of investments across the country.
Mark serves on the investment committees of the firm’s investment funds and its Risk Oversight Committee. He provides financial and strategic planning to support Enhanced Capital portfolio companies and serves as a member of the Board of Directors of several companies in software, new media, consumer goods, and other industries.
Prior to Enhanced, Mark spent six years in merchant banking, where he executed software and clean energy investments. He is an active angel investor focused on impact investments and has been the initial seed capital in several companies that leverage technology to provide measurable social impact. He is also involved in organizations that educate and mentor the next generation of entrepreneurs.
Mark earned an undergraduate degree from Bowdoin College and a J.D. from Case Western Reserve University.

John Tyson, Jr. Director, Washington D.C.
John is a Director at Enhanced Capital’s DC Fund where he assists in overseeing and implementing the Fund’s overall strategic vision, including identifying and structuring investments in support of the District of Columbia’s program to support small, local and minority businesses.
John also serves as Managing Director for Meridian Hill Advisors LLC, a DC based boutique real estate investment and advisory firm focused on credit lease transactions including transactions involving US government tenanted properties and public private partnerships. Prior to starting Meridian Hill Advisors, John served as general counsel for a DC based holding company.
Originally from Washington DC, John holds a J.D. from the University of Maryland School of Law and a B.A., cum laude, from Hampton University. He is a member of the Maryland Bar Association, DC Bar Association, Leadership Washington Class of 2003, and White House Intern Class 1995.

Whitney Williams Asset Manager, New Orleans
Whitney works with the Asset Management team focusing on tax return processing, investor reporting and tax credit fund accounting.
Prior to joining Enhanced Capital, Whitney worked as a tax accountant at PricewaterhouseCoopers. She was a part of their Private Company Services group that specializes in providing federal and state compliance services to privately held companies. Whitney holds a BA in accounting and MA in accounting from the University of New Orleans.
