New Private Markets reporter Sam Birchall recently spoke with Enhanced Capital Managing Director and Head of Climate Finance Ed Rossier about how the firm looks to drive impact and risk-adjusted returns in community solar projects.

Ed explained how the firm leverages government subsidy programs to invest in projects and small businesses that sit in a part of the market that is generally harder to finance and pointed to the firm’s recent investment in Solar Landscape.  Solar Landscape is a family-owned business that has completed over 100 solar projects and is on track to create the largest clean energy portfolio serving low- and moderate-income communities in the country.
