Located at 127 Peachtree Street in downtown Atlanta, GA, the historic Candler Building celebrates a lavish new beginning as The Candler Hotel. The building was built in 1906 by Asa G. Candler, co-founder of Coca-Cola, featuring detailed embellishments and elements of Beaux-Arts, Gothic, and Renaissance-style architecture. The Candler Hotel honors its past by preserving its historical design and naming the hotel after Asa Candler. When it was built in 1906, the 17-story structure was home to the city’s “finest baths,” office space, and a vault – rumored to have once enclosed the Coca-Cola secret formula.
Enhanced Capital financed $10 million in state Historic Rehabilitation Tax Credits awarded to the project by the State of Georgia. Enhanced works with developers of historic buildings to facilitate economic development in major metropolitan areas, smaller rural communities, and everything in between across the country.
