Founded in the 1970s, Mid-State Machine and Fabrication Corp. (Mid-State) started as a small 10-man machine manufacturing organization in Lakeland, FL. Now, the Company offers a full suite of fabrication, maintenance, and field services to the mining, chemical, power generation, and general manufacturing industries across the southeast.

In October 2013, Enhanced Capital made a debt investment in the Company through the Small Business Investment Company program  in order to help Mid-State buy out the sole shareholder. Since this investment, the Company has seen strong growth from expanding relationships with its current customer base and continued geographic expansion, while retaining hundreds of employees.
