Enhanced Capital’s Catherine Blume was pleased to attend the firm’s annual onsite Advisory Board meeting in Chicago on May 17^th, 2023.  

While in Chicago, the Advisory Board met with Fox Valley Developers, City of Aurora Mayor Richard Irvin, Chief of Staff Alex Alexandrou, and Economic Development Chair David Divo at the recently completed Copley Innovative Living Center to discuss the meaningful impact that the facility has had on the city. The Copley project received financing from Enhanced Capital in 2020 to redevelop a historic, blighted hospital into a mixed-use facility that provides senior housing, apartments for adults with developmental disabilities, and other community resources.

The Advisory Board also visited the North Austin Community Center in west Chicago to meet with the project’s stakeholders to learn how it supports the surrounding neighborhoods. In 2021, North Austin Community Center received financing for the environmental remediation of a vacant brownfield site and the construction of a community recreational and educational programming complex.
