Enhanced Capital’s CEO Michael Korengold recently spoke about the firm’s investment in the ND Paper Old Town Paper Mill for a segment airing on NEWS CENTER Maine Media, a local NBC affiliate. The investment provided the mill with funding for capital improvements, repairs, construction, and equipment procurement in order to restart and optimize its operations and handle previously unrecyclable cardboard. The mill now not only supports hundreds of new jobs, but is a leader in recycling discarded cardboard material that often ends up in landfills - illustrating the ripple effects that often takes place from impact investing.
