Nicole Fiorenza Antoon Counsel and Chief Compliance Officer, New Orleans
Nicole is Counsel and Chief Compliance Officer for Enhanced Capital. She oversees all regulatory and contractual compliance on behalf of the firm and its funds. Prior to joining Enhanced Capital, she worked as an associate in the General Business and Energy Section of Jones, Walker, Waechter, Poitevent, Carrere & Denege, L.L.P., a law firm in New Orleans, Louisiana. Prior to law school, Nicole worked at SouthTrust Bank and Hibernia National Bank as a commercial real estate loan officer and as a credit analyst.
Nicole holds a Bachelor of Science in Finance and a Juris Doctorate Degree from Louisiana State University.
Catherine Blume Vice President, New Orleans
Catherine is a Vice President of Enhanced Community Development, LLC and assists in all aspects of the company’s New Markets Tax Credit platform. In addition to being a part of the deal team, Catherine manages activities related to CDFI & IRS regulations, state and CIIS reporting, advisory board maintenance, document management, QALICB compliance, economic impact tracking and due diligence support. Prior to joining Enhanced Capital, she was a Paralegal in the Corporate and Securities Practice Group with Jones, Walker, Waechter, Poitevent, Carrere and Denegre, L.L.P. Catherine holds a Bachelor of Arts in Classical Studies and History from Loyola University New Orleans and is a Louisiana Notary Public.
Scott Bronner Vice President – Stone Point Capital, Greenwich, CT
Scott Bronner is a member of Tree Line Capital Partners’ Board of Directors and is a Vice President of Stone Point Capital LLC (“Stone Point”), having been with the firm since 2009. Prior to joining Stone Point, Mr. Bronner was an Analyst in the Private Equity Division at Lehman Brothers Inc. He is a director of Enhanced Capital Holdings, Inc. and LTCG, Inc. Mr. Bronner holds a B.A. from Amherst
Jon Burckin Director, New York
Jon serves as Director for Enhanced Capital in the tax credit finance team.
Prior to joining Enhanced Capital, Jon was Director of Business Development for HRI Lodging, LLC in New Orleans, LA. Before joining HRI, he was the Managing Director of Access Point Financial in New York, NY and previously worked 17 years for Scotiabank, where he most recently managed the firm’s relationships in the real estate industry from the New York office. He also worked on Scotiabank’s corporate banking operations in San Francisco and global risk management in Toronto.
Jon holds a BA in Economics from the University of California, San Diego and an MBA from Cornell University in Ithaca, NY.
Roddy Clark Managing Partner, REDMONT Venture Partners, Birmingham
Roddy is the Managing Partner of REDMONT Venture Partners, a private equity firm located in Birmingham, Alabama which has partnered with Enhanced Alabama Issuer, LLC and Enhanced Capital Alabama Fund II, LLC to deploy capital in Alabama.
Since 1997, REDMONT has invested capital into companies primarily in the healthcare and information technology sectors. His previous experience includes V. Mueller, McGaw Laboratory, Medfusion, Norell Home Healthcare, Horizon Medical, Myelotec, and Gynecare. He serves as a Director for the following portfolio companies: allvivo, Emageon, Folia, and Reliant Medical Products.
Roddy holds a BA in Political Science and History from Mercer University, and his affiliations include the following: Board member of the Autrey Nature Center, UAB Biomedical Department Advisory Board, National Venture Capital Association, Atlanta Venture Forum, and Birmingham Venture Club.
Pirjo Claros Accounting Manager, New Orleans
Pirjo is the Accounting Manager at Enhanced Capital. Pirjo is responsible for the monthly financial statements for Enhanced Capital and all of its state-focused investment funds. Pirjo also prepares monthly financial management reports, cash flow projections and annual budgets for the Company.
Prior joining Enhanced Capital in January 2006, Pirjo worked as an Accountant with Harcourt publishers. Prior to Harcourt, she worked for CNL Group where she participated in two mortgage loan securitizations. She graduated Summa Cum Laude from Florida Southern College with a BS in Accounting and she holds a BS in Radiology and Nuclear Medicine from Tampere University College of Nursing in Tampere, Finland.
Michael Craven Director, New Orleans
Michael serves as director for Enhanced Capital in the tax credit services division. He is responsible for coordinating with companies and high net worth individuals to minimize effective tax rates. He is also responsible for identifying tax credit investment opportunities and structuring transactions to fit within deal parameters.
Prior to joining Enhanced Capital, Michael was VP at Stonehenge Capital Company where he worked in a similar capacity. Before joining Stonehenge, Michael worked as an associate with Unum Insurance Company where he monitored credit and sector trends within a segment of the larger portfolio. Prior to joining Unum, he worked in the Private Placement division of Citigroup in Hartford prior to the acquisition of the Travelers subsidiary by Met Life.
Michael holds a BS in Mechanical Engineering from Louisiana State University and an MBA from University of Massachusetts in Amherst.
Dusty Dickerson Director, New Orleans
Dusty is a Director for Enhanced Capital’s Tax Credit Finance group. Prior to joining Enhanced Capital in June 2016, Dusty was Manager of Project Finance for HRI Properties, where he specialized in combining various state and federal incentive programs with traditional debt and equity capital to maximize both economic and public policy objectives. He has been directly involved in the underwriting and execution of over $1.4 billion of real estate development transactions.
Dusty holds a Master of Finance degree from Tulane University as well as a B.B.A. degree in Economics and Finance from the University of Mississippi.
Carling Dinkler, IV Vice President, New Orleans
Carling helps lead Enhanced Capital’s business development efforts, and his role also includes government relations.
Prior to joining Enhanced, Carling was Director, Government Relations for Ochsner Health System. He was also Ochsner’s manager for Internal Communications. Carling has spent much of his career working with elected officials and policymakers. He served as Senior Policy Advisor to former U.S. Congressman John Tanner. As a member of Congressman Tanner’s team, Carling concentrated on tax, trade, and budgetary issues. Carling also served on former Congressman Chris John’s staff.
Carling holds a Bachelor of Arts in English from Washington and Lee University and a Master of Business Administration from Louisiana State University. He is a member of the Magnolia Community Services board.
Michael Gevertz Director, New York City
Michael Gevertz is a Director at Enhanced Capital. Prior to joining the firm in 2009, Michael worked for Freeman & Co. a boutique M&A advisory firm focused on the financial service industry. Previously Michael served a junior consultant at ICCS Partners, a consulting firm focused post-acquisition integration and turn-around consulting and as an Analyst in the Corporate Healthcare Practice at the Segal Company.
Michael holds a B.A. in Political Science from Vassar College and a master degree in public administration from Columbia University.
Carter Goman Analyst, New York
Carter Goman is an Analyst at Enhanced Capital.
Prior to joining the firm in 2017, Carter worked in investment banking at BNP Paribas, providing debt financing solutions to clients in the consumer and technology sectors. Prior to joining BNP, Carter worked at Bank of America Merrill Lynch in the corporate lending group, where he focused on clients in the healthcare sector.
Carter graduated with a BS in Finance, Economics and International Business from the Honors College at the University of South Carolina.
Laurel Hearn Associate, New Orleans
Laurel is an attorney who supports the Counsel and Chief Compliance Officer. Her current areas of responsibility include regulatory compliance, research and contract review support for the Tax Credit Finance Team, and handling general corporate matters. Laurel graduated magna cum laude from Wake Forest University in 2011 with a Bachelor of Arts in History. She received her J.D. from the University of Texas School of Law in 2014.
Philip Hodges Managing Partner, REDMONT Venture Partners, Birmingham
Philip is the Managing Partner of REDMONT Venture Partners, a private equity firm located in Birmingham, Alabama which has partnered with Enhanced Alabama Issuer, LLC and Enhanced Capital Alabama Fund II, LLC to deploy capital in Alabama.

Liddy Karter Managing Director, Connecticut
Liddy serves as a Managing Director of Enhanced Capital and is responsible for overseeing investment activity in Connecticut. She brings experience in clean tech venture capital, corporate finance, and early stage company management.
Prior to joining Enhanced Capital, she was a Managing Partner at IRON Ventures, a venture fund investing in sustainable business ventures enabling symbiotic reuse of energy, industrial material and water.
Prior to IRON Ventures, Liddy was CEO of Resource Recovery Systems, Inc., a nationwide recycling company and CFO of Netkey, Inc., an ecommerce software company. Prior to that, she was Vice President of the Financial Services Group at Morgan Stanley.
Liddy is active in angel investing and serves on the Board of the Angel Capital Association. She is Executive Director of the Connecticut Venture Group, a statewide trade association for venture funds in Connecticut and serves as a Mentor at the Yale Entrepreneurial Institute.
Liddy received an MBA from Yale University and a BA in from Columbia University.
Paul Kasper Managing Director, New York City
Paul serves as a Managing Director of Enhanced Capital. Prior to joining Enhanced Capital, Paul served as a Principal and Senior Associate at American Securities Capital Partners, a leading middle-market private equity fund. Previously, Paul worked as a private equity investor at Hicks Muse Tate & Furst and as a Mergers & Acquisitions analyst at Merrill Lynch.
Paul graduated with highest distinction from Penn State University with a BS degree in Accounting and an MS degree in Business Administration. He also graduated with an MBA degree from the Stanford Graduate School of Business as an Arjay Miller Scholar. During business school, Paul worked in the office of the Chief Technology Officer of Agilent Technologies.
Sunil Khanna Managing Director, New York City
Sunil C. Khanna serves as a Managing Director of Enhanced Capital, and has responsibility for Enhanced’s Low Income Housing Tax Credit (“ LIHTC”) and infrastructure investment activities.
Prior to joining Enhanced Capital , Mr. Khanna was a Senior Vice President of Berkshire Hathaway Reinsurance Group, where he oversaw Affordable Housing Partners, a subsidiary focused on the acquisition of LIHTCs and Berkshire Hathaway Assurance Corporation, a municipal bond insurance company.
Prior to joining Berkshire Hathaway, Mr. Khanna was engaged in private equity investing, serving as a Partner of Arena Capital Partners, Director of Credit Suisse International Equity, where he was responsible for Asian private equity, and a Director of Stonington Partners and Merrill Lynch Capital Partners. Mr. Khanna has served on the Board of Directors of US Foodservice, Rykoff Sexton, Supermarkets General, Bestform Foundations, WSR Holdings and as an Observer on the Board of Everbank.
Mr. Khanna graduated from St. Stephen’s College, Delhi University, with a BA (Hon) degree in Economics, and received an MBA from Cornell University, Ithaca, NY. Mr. Khanna qualified as a member of The Institute of Chartered Accountants of England and Wales.
Michael Korengold President and Chief Executive Officer, New York City
Michael A.G. Korengold serves as the President and Chief Executive Officer of Enhanced Capital Group LLC. Mr. Korengold serves on the firm’s investment committees and Board of Directors.
Prior to becoming president, Mr. Korengold served as the company’s senior vice president and general counsel where he handled the company’s various legal matters including government relations and corporate compliance issues. Prior to joining Enhanced Capital, Mr. Korengold practiced law for seven years in New Orleans and Minneapolis, with an emphasis on mergers & acquisitions and financing transactions. He clerked on the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit.
Since joining Enhanced Capital, Mr. Korengold has lectured extensively on capital formation programs, and has testified before numerous state legislatures and other governmental institutions on related issues. Mr. Korengold also has served on the boards of numerous civic, community, and charitable organizations including as chairman of YPO’s Gotham Chapter. He is currently on the Board of the Pancreatic Cancer Action Network.
Mr. Korengold is a 1986 graduate of Vassar College and a 1993 magna cum laude graduate of the University of Minnesota Law School where he graduated order of the coif (highest honors) and served as an editor of the Law Review.
Anjali Kotian Operations Associate, New Orleans
Anjali is the Operations Associate for Enhanced Capital. She provides office services by assisting with implementing administrative systems, procedures and policies and monitoring administrative projects.
Prior to joining Enhanced Capital, Anjali worked in financial planning at Ameriprise Financial. Previous to that she worked in Field Operations at Deloitte supporting the National Controller and National Director of Human Capital as well as planning company-wide events.
Anjali holds a BS in Business Administration with a concentration in finance from the University of New Orleans.
Alan Lange Managing Partner, Grits Capital, Jackson
Alan Lange is the Managing Partner and Co-Founder of Grits Capital, a venture capital firm located in Jackson, Mississippi, which has partnered with Enhanced Capital Mississippi Fund, LLC to deploy a fund in Mississippi. Alan works on business strategy, deal origination and fundraising. Alan is an experienced business entrepreneur and has been involved in the startup, capital formation and management of over a dozen companies since 1999. He is a past founder and CEO of Redundant Networks, Inc., where he authored a internetworking technology patent. Prior to Redundant, he worked in a variety of publicly traded technology start-up companies.
He is a 2003 graduate of the Leadership Mississippi program and a 2004 graduate of Leadership Jackson. In 2005, he was also named to Mississippi’s Top 40 Under 40 as chosen by the Mississippi Business Journal.
Alan received his BA in Economics with Honors in 1993 from Millsaps College and later received a MBA from Millsaps in 1996.
Anna Maister Staff Accountant, New Orleans
Anna is a Staff Accountant for Enhanced Capital. She supports the firm’s accounting and finance team. Anna graduated Valedictorian from Delgado Community College in 2016 with an Associates Degree in Accounting.
Brittany Major Vice President, New Orleans
Brittany joined Enhanced Capital in January 2017 as Vice President of Community and Economic Development. Prior to joining Enhanced Capital, Brittany was the Director of Operations for the Business Council of New Orleans and the River Region where she was responsible for the day-to-day operations, in addition to overseeing all financial management, planning, and operational functions for the organization. Previously, Brittany was an Economic Development Policy Officer for the City of New Orleans and a Corporate Treasury Management Sales Officer for Capital One and Bank of America. Brittany holds a Bachelor of Arts in Economics and Mathematics from Spelman College and a Master of Business Administration from Tulane University.
James Matthews Principal – Stone Point Capital, Greenwich, CT
Mr. Matthews is a member of Tree Line Capital Partners’ Board of Directors and is a Principal of Stone Point Capital LLC (“Stone Point”). Prior to joining Stone Point, Mr. Matthews was a Senior Managing Director and Co-Head of Private Equity of Evercore Partners Inc. Previously, he was a General Partner of Welsh, Carson, Anderson & Stowe, and prior to that, he was a General Partner of J.H. Whitney & Co., where he started his career in private equity in 1994. Mr. Matthews is a director of Eagle Point Credit Management LLC, Eagle Point Credit Company Inc., Enhanced Capital Holdings, Inc. and NEBCO Insurance Services, LLC. In addition, he is a board member of Frenkel & Company and he is a former director of Bollinger, Inc., Fidelity Sedgwick Holdings, Inc., Ruesch International Inc. and Headstrong Inc.
Shane McCarthy Managing Partner, Chief Financial Officer, New Orleans
Shane is the Chief Financial Officer for Enhanced Capital and also co-heads the firm’s federal and state New Markets Tax Credit business line. As CFO, he oversees Enhanced Capital’s accounting, finance and treasury functions and assists with the monitoring and investment performance tracking of the firm’s state-sponsored investment funds and underlying portfolio companies. Shane also oversees the firm’s transaction structuring and asset management for its New Market Tax Credit investments.
Prior to joining Enhanced Capital in March, 2006, he was an audit manager with Ernst & Young where he provided auditing and attestation services for both publicly traded and private entities.
Shane is a certified public accountant and a member of both the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Society of Louisiana Certified Public Accountants. He received his Masters in Professional Accountancy and a BS in Accounting from the University of Southern Mississippi in 2001 and 1999, respectively.
Mark McCreery Managing Partner, Grits Capital, Jackson
Mark J. McCreery is the Managing Partner and Co-Founder of Grits Capital, a venture capital firm located in Jackson, Mississippi, which has partnered with Enhanced Capital Mississippi Fund, LLC to deploy a fund in Mississippi. Mark works on business strategy, deal origination, underwriting and compliance. He is an experienced business manager and entrepreneur who has been involved in 28 different start-up businesses since 1988 and raised over $50 million in capital for these businesses and other investment opportunities.
Previously, Mark worked as a financial and strategic consultant to various political clients including Rudolph W. Giuliani (Mayor – New York City in 1993/1997), Lamar Alexander for President ’96, Bush-Quayle ’92, and the 1992 Republican National Convention in Houston, Texas. McCreery also worked for Mayor Giuliani at New York City Hall in 1994, managing a staff of 170 and a budget of $137 million.
He attended Millsaps College in Jackson, Mississippi where he received both BBA and MBA degrees.
Richard Montgomery Managing Partner, New Orleans
Mr. Montgomery is Managing Director of Enhanced Capital’s Tax Credit Finance Team. In this capacity, he co-heads the firm’s federal and state New Markets Tax Credit business lines and manages the firmæs tax credit services. Previously, Mr. Montgomery was an attorney in the corporate and securities section of Jones, Walker in New Orleans, LA. He holds a B.A. from the University of Georgia and a J.D. from the Louisiana State University of Law where he graduated Order of the Coif (highest Honors) and was a member of the Law Review.
Dan Packard Controller, New Orleans
Dan is the Controller for Enhanced Capital. As Controller, he supports the preparation of Enhanced Capital’s financial statements and periodic reporting to investors, lenders and regulatory authorities.
Prior to joining Enhanced Capital, he was a Senior Auditor with Ernst & Young where he provided auditing and attestation services for both publicly traded and private entities. Prior to that, Dan started a real estate company that invested in the redevelopment of two multi-family housing developments in post-Katrina New Orleans.
Dan is a Certified Public Accountant and a member of the Society of Louisiana Certified Public Accountants. He holds a B.A. in Political Science and History from Colorado College and an M.S. in Accounting with an emphasis on Finance from the University of New Orleans.
Andrew Paul Founder, New York City
Andrew Paul is the Founder and Chairman of the Board of Directors of Enhanced Capital and Chairman of its Investment Committees. Andy works closely with all Enhanced Capital fund managers and Enhanced Capital’s portfolio companies. He is also the Managing General Partner of Enhanced Equity Fund, a $600 million equity fund focused on buyouts of and growth capital for lower middle-market companies, as well as the Managing Member of Sopris Capital Associates which invests opportunistically in small, emerging companies primarily in healthcare and technology. He has been actively engaged in private equity and venture capital investing for over 20 years, primarily in the healthcare industry.
Prior to founding Enhanced Capital, Andy was a General Partner and a Managing General Partner at Welsh, Carson, Anderson and Stowe (“WCAS”) a leading private equity firm with over $12 billion under management. Andy focused on healthcare investing during his 16 year career at WCAS. Prior to WCAS, Andy was an associate of the venture capital group of Hambrecht & Quist.
He serves on the boards of numerous companies and charitable organizations. Andy graduated from Cornell University and received his MBA from Harvard Business School in 1983.
Jill Pond Executive Assistant, New York City
Jill is the executive assistant of Enhanced Capital’s New York office. She has diverse responsibilities, from overseeing teams’ schedules to making strategic decisions. Jill also manages day-to-day tasks such as scheduling client meetings, maintaining and organizing corporate records and functions. Prior to joining Enhanced Capital, Jill was the Executive Assistant to the Managing Director of an England based Energy Consulting Firm, Douglas Westwood, located on Wall Street in New York City.
Jill attended Lynn University in Boca Raton, FL with a focus in Psychology.
Gingee Prince Managing Director, Wyoming
Gingee serves as Director for Enhanced Capital and is responsible for the development of public/private investment programs and business expansion. A successful entrepreneur, Gingee has extensive experience founding and growing companies in the venture capital and telecommunications industries. Prior to joining Enhanced Capital, Gingee co-founded two computer hardware companies, New Media Corporation and InterWorks Computer Products. InterWorks was successfully sold to Sanmina Corporation (NASDAQ:SANM) in July, 2000.
Gingee currently serves on the board of the Texas Coalition for Capital and is involved in many national capital formation efforts. Over the years, Gingee has also invested in and consulted with many early stage businesses, providing them with financial, operational and fund raising advisory services.
Gingee holds a Bachelor of Arts from the University of California, Berkeley.
Pamela Rogers Office Administrator, New Orleans
Pam is the Office Administrator of Enhanced Capital. She maintains and oversees the day-to-day functions of the firm including human resources and administration. She is also responsible for maintaining the corporate records, preparing monthly contractual compliance reports, organizing state-focused funds and federal NMTC applications and planning corporate-wide functions. Prior to joining Enhanced Capital in 2001, she was the Executive Assistant for an adolescent treatment facility in Huntsville, AL and an Administrative Assistant for an oil and gas exploration company in New Orleans, LA.
Pam is a member of the Society of Human Resource Management. She is a graduate of Soulé Business College in New Orleans, LA.
Gina M. Russo Senior Accountant, New Orleans
Gina Russo is a Senior Accountant at Enhanced Capital. Ms. Russo is responsible for asset management and portfolio company compliance for the Company’s state-focused funds and NMTC investments. In addition, Gina prepares the monthly financials for the Firm’s NMTC entities and supervises the Company’s accounts payables function.
Gina has a Bachelor of Science in Finance and Accounting from the University of New Orleans.
Hitesh Shah Vice President, Connecticut
Hitesh serves as a Vice President at Enhanced Capital and focuses on investment activities in Connecticut. Prior to Enhanced Capital, he was an Analyst at Connecticut Center for Advanced Technology’s (CCAT) Entrepreneur Center, a physical and virtual incubator for technology led small businesses. Prior to CCAT, he was an Analyst at Connecticut Technology Council’s (CTC) statewide virtual incubation program for small businesses. Prior to CTC, he was a Financial Analyst at an export oriented ceramics manufacturing company in India.
Hitesh graduated with an MBA from University of Hartford and a BS in Accounting from University of Pune.
Latrika Shaw Accounting Associate, New Orleans
Latrika is the Accounting Associate for Enhanced Capital and supports the accounting and finance department. Previously, she was the Administrative Associate for the firm. Prior to Enhanced Capital, she worked as an account analyst at Sears/ Citi Corp for eight years.
Mark Slusar Managing Director, Washington D.C.
Mark joined Enhanced Capital in 2005 in its Washington, DC office.
Prior to Enhanced Capital, Mark spent seven years as a managing director of a boutique investment banking group focused on M&A and capital formation for emerging technology companies.
Mark began his career as an attorney. His legal background includes work for a federal judge and for a multinational firm focused on public and private finance in its Cleveland and Washington, D.C. offices.
Mark received an A.B. from Bowdoin College, and a merit scholarship to Case Western Reserve University where he earned a J.D. cum laude and served as Contributing Editor of the Law Review.
Scott Strobridge, Esq. General Counsel, New York City
Scott joined Enhanced Capital in March 2016 as General Counsel. Prior to joining Enhanced Capital, Scott was the investment and corporate counsel at Chubb Group of Insurance Companies. Previously, Scott worked as a corporate attorney at Gunderson Dettmer and Paul Weiss.
Scott graduated with highest distinction from Cornell University with a BA from the College of Arts and Sciences. He also graduated with a JD degree from the University of Virginia School of Law. Scott holds the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation.
Grace Tan Analyst, New York City
Grace Tan is an Analyst at Enhanced Capital. Prior to joining the firm in 2016, Grace worked in investment banking as an Analyst at RBC Capital Markets in the Financial Institutions group focused on asset management and bank clients.
Grace graduated with a BSBA in Finance and Marketing from Washington University in St. Louis.
John Tyson, Jr. Director, Washington D.C.
John is a Director of the Enhanced Capital District Fund. John is also the Managing Director of Meridian Hill Advisors, LLC, focusing on structuring and underwriting public-private and private real restate development. John was President and General Counsel for The Kerry S. Pearson, LLC in Washington, DC for several years.
John is a member of the Court of Appeals of Maryland, American Bar Association, National Bar Associates, Leadership Washington Class of 2003.
John received his law degree from the University of Maryland School of Law and is a graduate of Hampton University in Hampton, Virginia.
